Bespoke sofa, Hampshire
Have you ever found it difficult to find the right sofa? Well, in this case it was almost impossible to find the right one! The client approached 1.61 to transform their sketch idea into a photorealistic furniture rendering.
With some minor tweaks on the right material, we finally rendered the image in a studio set-up to give it a clean crisp look.
Rocking chair, Spain
This rocking chair was created to pay homage to one of our client’s favourite designers – Antoni Gaudi. The beautiful chair has echoes of the Casa Batlló in Barcelona and a hint of his Calvet Bench produced in 1902.
Working from various sketches provided, it was absolutely crucial the final 3D model had the same level of detail that is reflected in Gaudis’ work. After many subtle tweaks the image was finally rendered on a textured studio set-up. A reflecting plane was used to pick out some highlights for this furniture rendering project.
Metal meets wood, London
Our brief for this project was to create photorealistic renders of two chairs: one made from metal and the other from wood.
Creating the 3D models of the chairs was pretty straight forward, so what we decided to do was drop it into a comfy one bedroom flat backdrop along with a mid-morning natural lighting system, to give the final furniture rendering a complete look.
